Happy New Year....well, February anyways!!!!!
It's been a long time since I posted last, so, I'll just jump right back in. I joined the gym up the street 2 weeks ago. I'm going every day for at least 30 minutes, but, shooting for 45 or 60. My goal for February is 1000 minutes total. Just at the gym. I CAN DO THIS!!!!! You see, it struck me that I am going to be 30 in just 8 short months. In those 8 short months I WILL be at least 3 pants sizes smaller. I am not going to starve myself, but, I am eating healthy, working out and I stopped drinking pop a month ago. This is NOT a new year's resolution, this is a lifestyle change. I want to start the next decade of my life looking and feeling FABULOUS!!!! It's not fair to my kids not to have the healthiest mommy I can be. So, I'll be adding my exercise ticker. Feel free to kick my butt if you don't see any progress, ok????
I measured my arms, waist, hips and thighs last week. I've lost 1/2" on each thigh and 1" off my waist. I didn't re-measure my arms or hips yet. Megan was trying to climb up me, so, I had to put the tape away.
Well, gotta run...Dan's snowmobiling, Molly & Seth are at my parents' house, and Megan's sleeping. I need a nap!
